-The studio maintains video surveillance recordings for up to thirty days and will review any pertinent footage if it is still available.

Shibari Studios reserves the right to pursue legal action against consent violations occurring on the premises, including parking areas.

-In the event of a consent violation occurring off of the premises, Shibari Studios will receive any report submitted. Submission of a consent violation report may trigger a review, but will only result in a ban or other action if determined as reasonable and/or necessary by Shibari Studios.

-Depending on the severity and circumstances of a consent violation, Shibari Studios may recommend or require a restorative justice program in order to regain access to the premises.

Photography & Videography

-Shibari Studios strives to be a safe(r) media positive space. Attendees and guests may not photograph or record anyone on premises without their explicit consent, including attendees in reflections or background. Furthermore, these images and videos may not be taken even if non-consenting individuals are edited out as the photographer would still have the original image of non-consenting participants.

-Anyone taking photos or video may be asked by Shibari Studios to show the contents of their camera or device to verify that any photos or videos only contain consenting parties.

If these types of edited images are found to be shared or posted publicly, Shibari Studios may ask to see the original unedited images and potentially have any subsequent version removed and deleted.

-Shibari Studios is not responsible or liable for the actions of any photographer or videographer, or for the actions of non-consenting participants against any photographer or videographer.

-Failure to follow direction of Shibari Studios regarding photography, videography, or any other media may result in removal from the premises, revocation of access or membership, or any remedies necessary.

-Members, guests, and attendees are expected to maintain positive social standing and sound reputation. Failure to do so, as determined by Shibari Studios, may result in revocation of access.

-Members, guests, and attendees are expected to practice enthusiastic consent. No means no, and “No,” is a complete sentence. This extends to touching or handling of other people or their belongings. Failure to practice consent may result in revocation of access.

-Members, guests, and attendees are expected to practice confidentiality when outside of the studio so that Shibari Studios can be a safe(r) space for everyone.
