Body Aware? See you there!

*Membership not required

This is a course designed for those with advanced body awareness who are interested in adding shibari and rope suspension to their skillset. Ideal participants will have existing background in disciplines such as silks, sling, pole, lyra, and so forth, or may be experienced rope bottoms, but all should come from disciplines with a developed risk profile. You can feel confident in being tied by vetted rope practitioners in a group studio environment.

Subject matter will include various ties and harnesses, suspension fundamentals, as well as the theory to understand them with the goal of being able to recognize competently tied rope. Many of the presented patterns can also be self-tied.

After the tying presentation, we will transition into Open Studio until closing time. Feel free to stay and practice shibari or get some time with a pole, sling, or other apparatus!

This course is great for those who:
